WHAT IS THE NDIS?
National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)
The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) provides support to eligible people who have a significant or permanent intellectual, physical, sensory, cognitive or psychosocial disability.
It does this by providing products and services that enables them to actively participate in the community and pursue their life goals and aspirations.
It is designed to give participants control over the choices they have and focuses on early intervention in order to build skills and independence.
